Laura Petiford, LMFT   

Laura Petiford, LMFT, received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University and is a clinical member of AAMFT.

As a therapist, Laura has a rich background of working with children, adults, couples and families. Laura is trained in crisis management and has extensive experience with substance abuse, codependency, depression, anxiety and trauma.

Laura enjoys working with those who are facing the challenges of living in today’s demanding world offering effective tools and a compassionate perspective to bridge to a more manageable, empowered life.

Laura currently accepts Aetna, MHN and CT Behavioral Health Partnership insurance plans.

Laura is the mother of two grown children.
