Susan Sherrick is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) trained in treating children, adolescents, adults and families. Susan is licensed in the state of Connecticut and is a member of the American Counseling Association. She has an extensive history of working in intensive in-home services, and with acute at-risk children and families. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed treatment, suicide prevention, grief and loss, as well as behavior modification and parenting techniques. She is a Certified Parenting Trainer from the National Resource and Parenting Center in Nebraska.
Susan is fluent in Spanish and has worked extensively with the Hispanic and undocumented community.

Susan is currently taking on new clients and accepts Husky (Medicaid) insurance and self-pay clients. Documentation can be provided for self-pay clients to submit to their insurance for out of network reimbursement.
