Mindy Natale received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a certificate in advanced Gestalt Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University. She is licensed in Connecticut and is both a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor through the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Mindy brings to MFT3 several years of clinical experience working in a youth service bureau setting, where she provided individual, parenting, group, and family therapy. Beyond these traditional services, she designed and implemented prevention and intervention-based programming in collaboration with her colleagues in the school system, fire and police departments, and other youth-service organizations. These experiences helped her to develop a flexible and creative style and the ability to see problems in a broader context.
Mindy takes a direct and supportive stance in her work. She encourages her clients to view their struggles as opportunities to integrate new life lessons and meaning in their lives. Mindy collaborates with her clients to identify their strengths and to generate new solutions. She addresses various issues such as separation/divorce, blended families, anxiety, grief/loss, school refusal, defiant behaviors, and depression in treatment.
